The Documentation Area of Labour Web includes acts and documents adopted by the EU institutions, by the EU member States and by the main international organisations acting in the field of labour law, social and employment policies and industrial relations. In this area you will also find a news section with updates, statistical data, press releases and other information instruments on the evolution of labour law and social policy in international context. Finally, there is a wide section of interesting links.
We talk and write about labour law more than at any time in the past, but, at the same time, the scope of useable dialogue for producing real communication seems to get narrower (Massimo D'Antona 1990).
The international public order of labour law in the era of globalisation is a field of conflicting values. Globalisation, competition, growth and the fundamental rights in employment, are terms of a big issue that surpass country borders, and that, at the same time, recalls the responsibilities of everybody in the international community (Massimo D'Antona, 1998).
The Ph.D. area of Labour Law includes information on the organization of the course, the legislation in force, admission details, attendance rules, procedures on writing, presentation and discussion of the final thesis. Within this area you will also find useful indicators for receiving and sending data and information on line. A special section is devoted to seminar activities in which you will find the full texts (or the abstracts) of the reports and contributions as well as a summary of recommended reading for every single seminar.
