FOCUS AND SCOPE 

CRIO Papers is a student-led on line peer-rewied series/journal  focusing on interdisciplinary research from any disciplines across Social Sciences and the Humanities. It is committed to fostering the spread of knowledge through an open-access forum and to facilitating public discourse. Our new and exiting mission is to provide insight across a multitude of disciplines, presenting the scholarly research of undergraduate students at the University of Catania and beyond as well as  scholarly pieces, calls for papers selected works and  special guests' conference papers.
 
We encourage submissions from students & scholars at any stage of their research and hope to reflect the interdisciplinary approach of academic study that CRIO Workshop promotes at the University of Catania Law Department.

We encourage papers that focus on and discuss, but are not limited to, the following:

Presentations of individual research
Development of ideas and approaches
Responses to certain theoretical and/or conceptual questions
Critical analysis of certain ideas and theoretical standpoints
Reviews of published work
Broader critical reflections on the postgraduate experience
Conference/seminar papers
Call for papers special issues

Please send abstracts for consideration to the following email address: crio@lex.unict.it .
The  ordinary deadlines for abstracts are January 29th, June 29th, October 29th. Please include your name, discipline and a proposed title with your abstract. If your proposal is successful, the deadline for the submission of full articles will be fixed by the editorial team by three months to be  included in a forthcoming CRIO Papers on line edition.

The Editorial Team

PEER REVIEW PROCESS

Each piece will be reviewed by graduate students or professors in the piece's respective field. Each piece will be read by two reviewers who will be asked to provide feedback on the content of the paper as well as a recommendation as to whether or not the piece should be accepted.
 

PUBLICATION FREQUENCY

CRIO Papers is an aperiodic on line series. Individual items will be published as soon as they are ready.
 

OPEN ACCESS POLICY

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
