Course Structure
The course has both theoretical and practical dimensions. It will be carried out by “ex-cathedra” lessons and the analysis, within the class, of some cases drawn from the relevant case-law, concerning the main problems that protection of international human rights presents.
Should teaching be carried out in mixed mode or remotely, it may be necessary to introduce changes with respect to previous statements, in line with the programme planned and outlined in the syllabus.
Learning assessment may also be carried out on line, should the conditions require it.
Detailed Course Content
The course is designed to give an in-depth understanding of international human rights standards and of the UN and regional systems that implement them.
