- From 2017 to 2019 she was Scientific Responsible for the collaboration agreement stipulated between the University of Catania and ENEA to collaborate in research and development activities within the activity “Individuazione del quadro normativo e finanziario dei contratti EPC per edifici, finalizzata alla loro valorizzazione, diffusione e sviluppo del mercato in Italia” (Identification of the regulatory and financial framework of EPC contracts for buildings, aimed at their valorization, dissemination, and market development in Italy).
- For over thirty years, she has tutored PhD theses and PhD final examinations.

- In 1987, she graduated in Law from the University of Catania with a 110/110 cum laude
- In 1996, she obtained a Ph.D. in Law at the European University Institute in Florence
