FOCUS | The Legal Clinic operates on the basis of an annual Focus, indicated by the Steering Committee.

Focus 2015/2016: Restoring Family Links (RFL); Right of Reunification and Family Unity.

Focus 2016/2017: Right to Education (and recognition of educational and professional qualifications obtained in the countries of origin); Children’s rights.

The thematic focus of the 2016/2017 academic year was the promotion and protection of the human right to education of vulnerable subjects, particularly young migrants present in the Italian territory.
The Clinic worked through the elaboration of operational strategies together with the University educational and administrative structures, sponsoring national and international projects fostering the right to education. The initiatives included the opening of a migrant help desk in collaboration with representatives of civil society organizations, consultants and lawyers, national and international experts in migration and refugee law and clinical Professors, also through the creation of co-sponsored networks and campaigns.
