LCCD - Core Activities

The Coesione e Diritto Legal Clinic engages in a variety of activities, including:

• Pro bono legal advice to partner organisations
• Strategic litigation and the drafting of third-party interventions and amicus curiae briefs before international courts and bodies
• Research, peer review, and drafting of Country of Origin Information (COI) reports
• Research, updates, and monitoring of international and European case law
• Civic monitoring of publicly funded projects
• Assistance and training activities for unaccompanied foreign minors
• Development of third-mission clinical projects addressing educational poverty and early school leaving in the metropolitan area of Catania
• Seminars, campaigns, and networking initiatives on the protection of academic freedom, within the framework of the international Scholars at Risk (SAR) network
