LCCD - What We Do
The Clinic integrates theoretical lectures with a wide range of practical activities carried out throughout the academic cycle. Students work in teams to conduct legal research and draft legal opinions, briefs, reports, and third-party interventions (including amicus curiae submissions) before national and international courts and bodies. They also contribute to public interest lawyering initiatives, legal information campaigns, legal monitoring activities, and joint projects with partner legal clinics across Italy and Europe.
A second-level pro bono Helpdesk operates within the Clinic, offering legal assistance on human rights protection in the international and European legal space, with particular attention to: citizenship and statelessness, migration and asylum, non-discrimination and sexual orientation, minority rights, and the protection of children and adolescents.
